In this section there are 2 lessons
Shoulder - arm clock

Using the image of a clockface as an indicator for direction, the shoulder/arm movement clarifies the relationship between arm and body. You will not only enlarge your movement potential but you will also be surprised by the ease and softness of your shoulder movements.

Flexors

The large torso muscles in the front of the body are generally used to bend and flex. In connection with the extensor muscles in the back we use them to walk upright. The abdominal muscles form the retaining wall of the internal organs. Our body’s centre of gravity lies in the lower abdomen; this area is important for all movements related to gravity. In this lesson you explore the capabilities of your bending muscles through various combinations of arm, leg and head movements. With each movement sequence you try out another group of muscles so that, at the end of the lesson, you have tuned the ‘orchestra’ of your flexor muscles, something which you will notice in an easier upright posture and a free, supple upper body.
